Bolt on ABR

The Bolt on Adjustable Bag Rider (Patent Pending) design for Cadex rifles reduces any additional height being added to the rear stock by placing the threaded stud up through the lower portion of the frame. It also places the rear dowel in-between the stock and the recoil plate. It will require machining the stock to mill the hole for the stud and milling a slot in the recoil pad to allow full closure of the stock around the rear dowel. No functionality is lost with this installation. The Cadex ABR provides the same superior functionality as the other ABRs while keeping the stud mostly contained in a dirt free environment.

Caliber Restrictions:

• .338 and smaller calibers will use the standard dowels

• .33XC and larger needs the hardened Dowels

The Cadex ABR WILL NOT fit the Skeletonized Rear Stock (Lite Competition, Field Competition or Field Tactical…). It will only fit the type of stocks in the pictures shown on this page. The Cadex Skeletonized Rear Stock could use the Universal Rail Mounted ABR but it will add 2.25” below the pic rail requiring a very lower bag. We suggest you setup the rifle and add 2.25” under the pic rail to verify you can get to the scope while still being relaxed.

The ABR is made and assembled in America from American 6061-T6 alum and Black Anodized Class II

Please note that this product may not fit other Rifles without modification.

This ABR requires some gunsmithing that has to be done by the SSD gunsmiths, this work is included in the price. After completion it will be shipped.
