Model variant “SE” (side ejection)

Especially (and up to now exclusively) for the .223 Rem caliber, DESERT TECH is also making the MDR x available in a simplified version with an open side ejection: as the ” MDR x SE ” model. Here, a different ejection technique and a different bolt head are used, so the gun ejects the shells powerfully to the right, like a classic AR15.

Due to the technical simplification, this model is somewhat cheaper in price . However, this model variant does not have any protection against dirt but is more intended for static use or the shooting range.

Basically, the chassis of the ‘front ejection'(FE) and ‘side ejection'(SE) are identical, but for a change to a front eject system you not only need the changing system itself (with the corresponding SE or FE bolt head), but also one upgrade kit from SE to FE (price: EUR 469.00).
