The Desert Tech COVERT A2 has also been reworked and presented for the first time at the SHOTSHOW 2019.

It differs from the Desert Tech SRS-A2 essentially in the shorter hand guard and the specially developed, shorter barrels in 16″ and 18″. This results in an even shorter overall length: An SRS A2 Covert with a 16″ barrel in .308Win is just as long as a classic MP! (see figure)

This short design with consistently high precision results in optimal transport and handling properties of the ready-to-use weapon system.

The use of silencers also leads to a very acceptable overall length.

With the SRS Covert Chassis, all barrels and all available handguard variants of the SRS A2 can be attached and installed. This basic version, therefore, offers the greatest possible flexibility of all members of the SRS family.

  • Length-adjustable shaft
  • Height-adjustable cheek rest
  • Roughly and finely adjustable tail skid integrated in the stock (optional)
  • Adjustable and dry-breaking fine trigger
  • Safety on both sides above the trigger guard
  • Forend with M-Lok mounts individually adjustable
  • The forend is easily removable and interchangeable between models.
  • All barrels are designed as “bull barrels” (21mm diameter), are not flooded and have a shorter twist, optimized for subsonic and regular ammunition.
  • All barrels have a 5/8×24 muzzle thread and a thread cover
  • A left-handed version is available as an A1 variant with a 5% surcharge on the A2 price.
  • We also have silencers from B&T for all calibers, some of which have been specially developed and tuned for use with DesertTech barrels. Let us advise you!
